[and after a little while she makes it to his door, knocking. Admittedly she looks like crap, more because it's obvious she's panicked by what's going on and many other feelings and emotions rather than injury. One of her hands has a few fingers splinted and there's gauze covering a few places on one of her arms and shoulder but otherwise she's not to bad. She didn't blow up at least.]

Eridan? [She calls a little quietly, looking over her shoulder. So paranoid.]

[it takes him a bit to actually open the door, between feeling like shit and just not trusting just about anyone, but when he finally does he just kind of... stands there. he doesn't even know what to do now and he just feels like he's failed her and he really doesn't want her in his room... there are so many feelings over here. and just a little bit of beeping, too.]

[And to no one's great surprise the first thing she does is hug him, holding tight. It takes her a while to pull back, offering him a shaky smile.]

Hey. I- I'm glad your back.

[when she first hugs him the beeping speeds up for a moment before he just relaxes and hugs her back.]

I don't care about that. I'm just glad you're safe.

Sorry. [She finally takes in the room, trying not to wince. God she hoped that was gone after reset.] How are you feeling? You've been eating right?

...I've been eatin' okay. I guess. I've got stuff in here to eat so I'm okay.

And I feel fine. [has there ever been a more obvious lie? okay this is Eridan so maybe, but it's still not very likely.]

You're such a bad liar, doofus. [She offers him a shaky smile at that.] I think as long as you stay off the network you'll be ok... promise you'll try to?

Only if you promise to try and stay safe. And really try, not just say you'll try but then go run off and do somethin' stupid. [because she is clearly the one that does that, not him.]

I will, just- [she looks down, taking a deep breath. It really wouldn't be a good idea to tell him how much trouble Kanaya, Sollux and John were in. What had already happened.] We'll save them. We did before. But you have to... you have to be around to help.

But me just sittin' here doesn't help anyone. It doesn't even help me 'cause then I just worry about everythin' and then I'm gonna explode or somethin'. I'd rather help you.

You can help! Not if you go explode though. [she glances up] I don't- I'm not sure anyone can help, not right now. She still- they still have people. John's twin and Patchouli's are too strong...

[she frowns, shaking her head and grabbing his arm.] Hey, let's focus on something else, ok? For now.

...Fine. If you want to. [of course he's gone right back to beeping because now he's worried about her again. but he doesn't even pay it much attention because really, he's gotten kind of used to it sporadically making itself known what with all his emotions and everything. :|]

[Darn it, she was hoping to focus on something to keep that beeping from starting again. Man this was going to be tricky. Darn, no good feelings and emotions.]

Were you human last week? [She forces a smile. It was hard not to continue fretting over this week but if it was to keep Eridan alive she'd do it in a heart beat] I can't really remember seeing you.

Except the magic part. That part was pretty awesome.

[she has to smile a bit at that] And I didn't get to see? Shoot, did you have a hat and robe and everything?

Of course I did, it'd be pretty hard to be a proper wizard without those. It was pretty awesome. Rose was one too.

But if I had to be a human at least I wasn't just some mug- I mean, normal one. That would have sucked.

What was it like? Being human I mean- besides 'awful' or 'terrible.' [She tries to say those two words in Eridan's normal tone.]

I guess it was alright, some of the time. Mostly 'cause I didn't know I'd ever been anythin' else so I thought I was pretty much the most awesome person around.

...It wasn't really too different from bein' a troll, though, really, except for not bein' as great as I am now. I guess there was less killin' people too. [and less romance drama, although he's not going to say that to her right now. :| the beeping starts up again when he thinks about that, although it dies down again pretty fast.]

Duh, if you were a wizard you wouldn't be like that guy in the movie, the snake one. [This was a little awkward to say considering he apparently killed her. She brushes past that, now was definitely not the time.]

Eridan- [The beeping makes her frown but when it dies down she relaxes.]

[Because just being a huge blood purist is totally better, obviously.] I guess so. I think he had kinda the right idea, though.

[of course, just her pointing out the beeping starts it up again because now he's thinking about it again. and he really doesn't want to blow up, not now with Fef watching and it just isn't stopping yet.]
