[Feferi glanced over at the group of small, trembling imps. She had to feel bad for them, compared to some of the monsters they had seen these ones were basically grub's play. That and she had just decapitated one of their giant friends.]

[Sollux made quick work of the imps that had attacked them, flinging them away and then running after them and flinging a throwing star at any of the ones remaining alive. Collecting the grist he looked around to make sure he'd gotten them all.]

BICYCLOPSPRITE: way to kick their shit could have done it faster though.

[He looked around, but they were right, Feferi was gone. Sollux started to get a little worried, not that he had a crush on the girl or anything, but they had been working together out here, it made sense he'd be a little concerned]

[they could be so distracting sometimes- and then he heard her calling him, he turned around and there she was, a small ways off but not too far. and gl'b was with her, good. he jogged towards and waved a hand in case she hadn't spotted him]

[Feferi waves excitedly back, brightening when she sees him in that way that anyone could tell there was some crushing going on over here. If Gl'bgolyb could make a face it would be this >:V]

There you are! [she grins when she approaches him, hands clasped behind her back] Did you see? I totally powened that giant, POW!

[She laughs as her sprite hovers nearby, tentacles waving menacingly behind Feferi.]

[She tries not to blush as she glances at Sollux] Sorry! So um, are you ok?

[Seeing those menacing tentacles is a little nervewrecking. He never really was sure of how to act around Gl'bgolyb. Especially since that whole glub him dying thing. He is completely distracted by these thoughts and fails to notice how positively happy Feferi is to see him]

Ah, no I didn't actually and yeah everything's fine here.

[he raised an eyebrow at whatever gl'b had said, but he couldn't understand much beyond hearing his title and that he should move faster. Listening to the Gl'bgolyb for more than very long was never really a pleasent experience for him]

Uh. What about you, everything okay?

[unbeknownst to Sollux, the Bicyc shared a look the red head looking like it wanted to say something, but holding back if only for a little longer.]

[Oh right there were more of those little imps. One brave one detaches and makes a leap for them. Unfortunately Feferi's back is turned and way too focused on Sollux here.]

[Fortunately Sollux see's the imp and flings his throwing star at it, slicing it in half. Unfortunately he also nicked on of Gl'bs stray tentacles.]

[This is probably not a pleasant sound. It sounds a little like what a mind tearing itself sounds like, with a little broken glass in there. Feferi heads on over, examining the injured tentacle.]

[She proceeds to take care of it... however you help sprites, looking back over at Sollux.]

[Oh grub, it was awful, he felt like he was hearing her speak in his skull and every syllable was cutting a new section off. He clapped his hands over his ears but there was no way to block it out. Finally it stops. Oh his nose is bleeding. He pinches his nose shut, making his voice come out nasaly]

Yeah, she's fine, the bigmouthed bass. She's just not used to this whole being small and dead thing yet. [Feferi answers, fondly patting her lusus's tentacle. Poor goof 38( Then of course she notices Sollux's nose.]

Oh no Sollux! Here- [She hurries over, tearing a little off the end of the train of her skirt (it wasn't like they couldn't alchemize a new one after all) and attempts to hold it up to Sollux's nose.

Gooblyglob calms down but does not look amused. Or.. well she looks slightly more flagellating with her tentacles.]

[He takes the part of her skirt she's ripped off, with a slight feeling of guilt for ruining her clothes and holds it up to his noise. Thankfully it wasn't a very big nose bleed and had nearly stopped. Of course Gl'b's next statement is short enough for even him to make it. Well damn that sure does a doozy on his already low self esteem. He tries to ignore it.]

[Oh no oh no oh no. Sollux shot his lusus a look, but both heads were glaring down the emissary.

Having just completed the sidequest they needed to finish to get the map to find the seventh gate, Sollux and Feferi had been doing this for a while, and most of the journey had gone like this, when it was just him and Feferi it was really nice, but with all of them together, things could get a little.. Heated. Sollux was normally the kind of kid that could get pissed enough for himself, but Feferi was his friend, and frankly, her lusus was terrifying. Gooblyglob or whatever her name was could say whatever she wanted, as long as she didn't screech Sollux was fine with it, mostly. He'd asked his sprite/lusus to ignore her too, but as usual the huge idiot never listened. Grub, if Feferi hated him forever because of this his lusus would have a metaphorical fire-y underworld to pay.]

[Feferi grins, still standing pretty close. She never really felt this way before, like every time Sollux looked at her her vascular system twisted- somehow in a good way. Like little fish were flopping around in there. It was kind of confusing actually, it was probably from him saving her, she decided.

She's broken out of her thoughts by her lusus's statement, actually glaring over at her though it was really more of a pout.]

[Gl'bgolyb's sprite wriggled, a definite green gleam to it's eyes that would have been much more intimidating if she wasn't a weird floating ghost sprite thing. Still, it was probably disconcerting. She generally was disconcerting to most sane individuals.]
