[It had been a while since she arrived and well, she was starting to get a little bit of human cabin fever. Of course fretting and thinking over the Sollux situation took up a lot of her time but Karkat had nipped that in the nub. Sort of. At least she felt better about it.

So she crept through the hive, peeking into the room Sollux was in, watching as he typed away at his computer. She grinned and slunk over, how stealthy her approach actually was is debatable. She wasn't exactly the most graceful troll, out of water at least. You didn't spend nearly all your life underwater and splash out as the epitome of land grace.]

Solluuuuux- [because even she wasn't dumb enough to surprise the high level psionic too much. She grinned as she grabbed his shoulders.] Gotcha!

[Feferi stares at him a moment, more because well... what did he just say? It was kind of hard to catch and- wait. Did he say date?

She turns bright tyrian purple.]

Did you say date? [she asks, still a little surprised before she smiles. Brightly. Fin protrusion to fin protrusion.]

Yes! I do- I mean, go on a date- a rain date! [she laughs, now a bit flustered herself.] You um- that's what you said, right?

[ and he's all prepared for rejection until- ]

[ wait. maybe she thinks he means a friend date. ]

[BECAUSE FEFERI GOES ON SO MANY FRIEND DATES she just grins at his rambling and leans over to give him a small peck on the temple.]

A date date it is. [and she laughs] Karpkat talked to you too, huh?

[ oh, wow. he smiles, blushing his vomit yellow blush, and threads their fingers together. he can't recall ever being this happy. ]

Well, more crabby than that. [she smiles down at their hands.] He's a really good friend, even if he carps all the time.

I do, it's pretty silly you would think otherwise!

[One day she'll pick up on this. ONE DAY.]

[Now she is far too busy being delightedly wrapped up in her own new found rom.] Well, ok. [she blushes a little, leaning into him too] I'm glad you- well, that you do like rom enough to try. I was pretty blue about it.

Blue and red go well together...maybe not in rom though, ehehe.

[ he swings their hands a little, even being so bold as to brush his lips over her temple- just for a second!

[She laughs at that, falling back. What, puns were the highest form of wit!

And that kiss gets a blush and a wide grin, followed by another laugh at his reaction.]

What are you sorry for? Solluuuux, I think you're a little shy! [she teases]

...Yeah, thorta, tho what!

[ grump grump grump. ]

[grinnnn, leaning over.] Mister coolguy is a little shy! It's really cute!

It is! [she places a finger in fronto of her lips] Don't you worry goofball, it'll be our secret!

Sollux, what do you think is going to come next? [she smiles over at him.] In this place I mean. With us I sort of like the surprise.

[ he grins at her, relief written across all his features. oh man, life is good. he doesn't have doomsday visions and his crush just agreed to a rom with him ♥ BEST PLACE EVER. ]

[She laughs brightly, wow it was nice to see Sollux so happy. Was he like this around her before and she hadn't noticed? Maybe Karpkat was right, she was a little dense if that was the case.]
